Meet Tara
Founder/Chemist
Our founder, Tara, has been deeply immersed in the beauty industry since 2004, commencing her aesthetic training in Lethbridge. In 2006, she embarked on a journey to become a chemist and a journeymen aesthetician, all while single-handedly raising her child. She honed her skills while working in globally acclaimed spas before eventually settling in the prairies, where she continued to serve clients and educate others in the field of medical aesthetics. In 2009, Tara established her first medical spa, a venture that remains close to our hearts as Prairie Bliss in Saskatoon. Drawing from her extensive knowledge of ingredients, Tara has channeled her expertise into formulating effective, results-driven products. Her philosophy revolves around the belief that a formula doesn't necessarily need to contain chemical preservatives in order for its ingredients to be highly effective.
Each formula undergoes meticulous design and testing in collaboration with skincare specialists, dermatologists, and our clinical team to ensure optimal efficacy. The products are crafted and manufactured in Kelowna, Canada, a place where Tara and Andy have found peace. We are staunchly committed to maintaining strong ties with our biodynamic and ethically sourced suppliers for every organic and medical-grade ingredient, and our products are never tested on animals. Furthermore, our commitment to environmental responsibility is reflected in our choice of recyclable glass bottles and jars, as well as the use of recycled materials for packaging and shipping.
Moreover, a portion of the proceeds from our sales contributes to global reforestation efforts. For every dollar donated, another tree is planted through our partnership with One Tree Planted.

Meet Andy
Business Development
From a young age, I've been fascinated by how things work. Growing up on a farm outside of Blaine Lake provided me with ample opportunities to explore and indulge my curiosity. Even from the time I was in diapers, my Mother would always joke that I was the one who gave her gray hair. As a very young child, I would find ways to sneak out of the house to "visit my dad in the field" (still in diapers), or climb on top of the stove in my rubber boots to observe how firemen dealt with heat (all elements on high). As I grew older, my desire to discover and understand the world around me only intensified. I would often dismantle my toys to see how the wind-up cars operated and how batteries powered other toys to light up. Later in life, this curiosity led me to pursue an engineering degree, as it seemed to align with my innate desire to understand how things function.
However, after delving into engineering, I realized that my true passion lay in delving into the realm of business. This realization prompted me to transition from engineering and embark on my first entrepreneurial venture as a real estate agent. Despite finding initial success in real estate, I eventually felt a calling to make a more profound impact on those around me. I yearned to create opportunities for others and help them cultivate their passions while expanding my own horizons.
During my tenure running the construction company, I became deeply intrigued by my wife's (Tara) burgeoning businesses, Prairie Bliss and Atlas Rose. Witnessing her triumphs and challenges in the ever-evolving industry sparked a growing fascination within me, leading to a strong desire to delve deeper and ultimately culminating in the expansion of what is now known as the medispa Prairie Bliss in Saskatoon that we sold in 2023. My current focus lies in general contracting in Kelowna, and empowering individuals who our on our team at Hubbard Homes and helping our community.
